The individual, unconventional and eclectic style and taste of Iris Apfel is an inspiration.
She and her husband founded the textile firm Old World Weavers in the fifties. They sourced fabrics from all over the world using old original looms and eventually moved into the world of interior design and decorating. Her personal style is witty and eccentric, mixing flea market finds with couture.She combines pattern, texture and colour with no regard for period, convention or current fashion trends.
We hope we look half as good as Iris when we are 86!
