Read this: Look good, not young

Great article in the Guardian G2 today called Coming of age, by Good Housekeeping editor Louise Chunn, who sums up exactly how we feel here at the Women's Room,"It's no longer aboout looking young, it's about looking good". In it she states that it's women of over 40 that are the new style icons, Betty Jackson (above), Kristin Scott Thomas, Mary Portas and the lovely Michelle Obama…(oh ok, even Sarah Palin looks reasonable on Republican expenses…). Totally sums up what we have been banging on about, so lets just hope a few more fashion retailers get the message ( are you reading this Sir Phlilip?).
