ABC carpets in New York has long been one of our favourite shops in the world. A fabulous 10 floor emporium stacked with new and vintage eclectic homeware, its like exploring your rich, well travelled, great aunts attic. We never miss the opportunity to visit when we are in New York and its especially fabulous at Christmas.
The great grand daughter of the founder of ABC is following the family tradition and runs her own studio selling fashion, furniture, bedlinen and carpets. A selection will be available at a pop up shop in the Harrods ABC concession from May until the 15th of June.
The collection includes handwoven cotton and wool rugs in bold patterns and vibrant colours, chenille metallic carpets, handcrafted ikat and suzani pillows and vintage silk cushions. They will even make bespoke pieces according to your colour and size requirements.
