We love: The Treehouse Gallery

Tree house4

One of our friends recently invited us to lunch and a debate in a tree house. We were intrigued, what a lovely idea.

The Tree house Gallery is a series of temporary gallery spaces in Regents park, providing art, events and music throughout August and September. The project includes a diverse mix of artists, architects, crafts people, and environmental specialists and is definitely worth checking out. Situated on the banks of the boating lake, the series of tree top structures is divided into six areas: the spherical reading gallery, the budding hub gallery, the sound garden, the medicinal herb garden, the round table and orbidesic dome.

Architect Joseph Bloor, who helped to build the project describes it 'as an environment that offers all park goers, who either stumble across the galleries by foot, by bike or by boat, a chance to engage on numerous levels.

Take a look if you are in Regents park and if you love Tree houses, you will love these books. New Treehouses of the World by Pete Nelson.
