When we watched this first time round we thought it was funny but we didn't actually identify with it. We were too young and probably more in tune with Bubble, than Eddie and Patsy. Watching the early episodes again (it lost the plot towards the end) make us hoot with laughter, but spookily we see some similarities with our own lives.
This episode about Eddies weight particularly resonates, and sadly I even used to wear a very very similar t shirt and Pucci legging combo!! "Inside us all there is a thin person just screaming to get out, thin ankles, thin ankles!!"
