We popped along to the OPI nail launch for new colours last week, and got given a couple of bottles of OPI Original Nail Envy and Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil. Both Jane and I have strong nails so are useless as testers. Does anyone have weak and flakey nails they wish were stronger? If so they are both yours in return for an amusing comment and a dedicated period of testing and then a short review.
Can you fix weak nails when you are over 35 years old? The Nail Envy bottle does not say, so we'd like to find out. And I've always wondered if religious use of cuticle and nail oil was worth the effort. So ladies, anyone fancy a 'nail month?'. Leave us a good comment and the bottles are yours…..
21 years of gardening and dog walking – do I need to say more? Weak, flakey and spilt ends that I thought you only got on your hair! X
I have tried various remedies over the years for my nails, which are always flaking or breaking. Lately I have been using Burt’s Bees lemon cuticle balm and that has not made any significant difference to the nails, but my cuticles are MUCH nicer.
I would love to try one of these products and can only hope they would make a real difference.
