We are huge fans of 50's and 60's furniture and are always on the look out for bargain Ercol or G Plan pieces – if there is such a thing? I am also a lover of patterned wallpaper and have it in almost every room of my house.
We were delighted to find that furnishing company Sanderson have recently launched a new collection of fabric and wallpaper inspired by the 1950's. Following the success of their retro design Dandelion Clocks and the 'Very Sanderson: 150 years of English Decoration' exhibition at the Fashion & Textile Museum in 2010, the brand decided to create a collection combining 1950s designs from the Sanderson archive alongside 50's inspired patterns from contemporary artists.
I am loving the above wallpaper and wondering how to convince M.A.D we need to have it in our lives!
