One of the newest colours to continually crop up on the international catwalks, has been yellow. All shades from palest lemon, though to acid citrus, brightest sunshine and mustard.
As lovers of bright colours, we are happy to embrace the revival of such an optimistic shade and the trend was confirmed when our favourite Italian label Marni featured bright lemon in its Milan catwalk show. We love the way it was used with brown and grey in bold graphic and retro inspired prints and when designer Consuela Castiglioni was seen wearing mustard at the end of the show – we were sold!

The fashion press, buyers and celebs on the FROW (Twitter terminology for the front row – keep up please people!) were also loving yellow, and if style icon extraordinaire Anna Dello Russo is wearing it, then it’s definitely a trend!

Oh for heaven’s sake, not yellow again! It doesn’t suit anyone with Northern European colouring.

I’m loving the yellow just about any time of the year because it’s such a happy colour. It can get so grey and dreary during the winter months that it can really save my mood. I think its super important to find the piece that fits you and your personality. Otherwise, you can end up looking like big bird and I just don’t need any help in that department ;)!
