Something lovely for a winters day: Mary Katrantzou Spring Summer collection

Summer seems like such a long way away and the thought of wearing summer clothes a distant dream.

Mary Katrantzou is a young designer who has taken the fashion world by storm over the last couple of seasons. Her stunning prints have captured the hearts of the fashion press and buying public and her collections get better and better each season.

To showcase her Spring Summer 12 collection, she commissioned artist  Erik Madigan Heck to create these beautiful paintings of her range. The hyper real, super bright paintings sum up the mood of the S/S season perfectly and we can’t wait to start wearing some of those prints. Eat your heart out Frida Khalo!
