Old is the new young!

Fabulous Advanced Style ladies, Juicy Couture ad campaign and The amazing Brown sisters

A few days in bed with a fluey type thing has meant my blogging energy is at an all time low – so apologies for today’s post.

Imagine it’s like the testcard but with inspiring images we have collected from Pinterest and Advanced Style of older women we love. Normal sevices will be resumed – but in the mean time – enjoy!

BTW – Yesterday a friend texted me “old is the new young” – it’s about bloody time!!

Iris Apfel, Editta Sherman and we have no idea who the fab lady with the poodle is – anyone know?

Joyous, life-affirming images to start the day! Thank you for lifting my spirits even though you’re feeling grotty. Do get well soon – and take it easy, if you can. Helenx

Sorry you are feeling ill – get well soon.

I don’t want to be churlish. Either to you when you are ill, or to these lovely extrovert bold bright confident ladies. But … when you feel better … please could you redress the balance with a couple of impeccably classic dressers as well? Just so we don’t have to assume that eccentricity becomes obligatory later on.

  • Old is the new young – love it! Feel better soon x

    Wot Esmeralda said!
Do feel better soon not least because I am selfishly looking forward to your posts on what is being worn to Frieze Art and the older women don’t look so clownish.

Watch this space re – classic dressers! Jx

  • I wish you had been at the Cameron Silver/Decades talk last night, you’d have loved it. He had so many great stories to tell about his ‘senior style’ customers. You should def try and visit him next time you’re in LA (if you haven’t before)… x

Oh no, would have loved to see that. Do you think its online anywhere Navaz? Jx

You really make it seem so easy together with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something which I feel I’d by no means understand.
It kind of feels too complex and extremely huge for me.

I am having a look ahead for your subsequent submit, I’ll try to get the
    hang of it!
