Just in case you are thinking of starting your Christmas shopping this weekend and you live near London, it’s car free day today, Saturday 24th November, in the centre of town. Also there are a number of special offers, competitions and stores doing fun things as the West End does West End VIP Day. Retailers are really keen to get you to part with your money currently so there may well be good offers to be had.
If you don’t like shopping, it might be worth noting that although it will be car free today, it might also be busy. You have been warned.
Having been to the West End before on a pedestrianised day I can assure you it is hell on earth and I like shopping! Maybe the weather might put some people off today though.
