All I want for Christmas

Running around buying everyones else’s Christmas presents usually means you have no idea when someone asks “what do you want for Christmas?” Family members and long term partners often need a little help when it comes to choosing the right thing as if you are anything like us, you pretend you are happy with anything, but in fact you are really particular!

I put together my fantasy Christmas list based on some of the lovely things I have come across when writing the blog. The true test of a press sample, is whether you go ahead and ahead and buy the product again when it has run out. I used up the Blackberry and Bay perfume sample from Jo Malone London in record time and now have it on my Christmas list, both in the 30ml handbag size and the bigger 100ml size.

Ruby Red Reviving Body cleanser is a lovely combination of Lime, Red Mandarin, Coriander and Cedarwood which doesn’t contain any artificial preservatives and would make a great stocking filler (buy it for yourself and discreetly pop it in) for a friend or relative. As would the Pai 3 Step Facial Set – Rosehip oil is my new favourite “thing”, when it come to skin care.

Cosy sleep/loungewear is a must on Christmas day and the cotton flannel Stella PJ’s from Toast and shearling slippers look perfect for lounging around next to an Aga in a Welsh cottage, toasting crumpets.

Or if you are having a slightly more dressed up Christmas, what about adding the Marni collar or Tatty Divine giant lobster necklace to a simple black dress. I NEED that lobster so much it hurts (if you are reading teen daughter – tell Dad!).

And finally as it is also my Birthday on Christmas day, I would like the Marni Frame bag, which at £740 is never going to happen – just as long as I don’t get a mop – which I did one year – I’ll be happy!
