M&S Formula Advanced Illumin-ATP Radiance Programme

We’ve written a lot about expensive skin creams, not so much about medium- priced ones, this new M&S Illumin-ATP Radiance range might help redress the balance a bit. Actually, according to the M&S beauty buyer Louisa Maaldrink, who we met at the recent press day, it appears that we women of maturer skin are pretty price insensitive when it comes to skin care. Louisa told us that one of the biggest growth areas in the beauty department has been the top end Formula Range, with customers happy to buy-up into higher priced ranges in order to invest in a quality product. She also said women tend to age-up with skincare -that is, buying a cream for 60plus skin when you are actually 40plus -in order to get a more intense formula..it’s not the answer according to Louisa.

I’ve been trialling the newly launched Advanced Skin Solutions Illumin-ATP Radiance range for over ten days now and I can report that it is excellent value for money. The Radiance day cream (£15 -it’s a lovely putty pink colour too, I want this shade in paint) is lovely and makes my skin nicely soft and glow-y when used with the Intense Serum (£19.50). The day cream scored highly in the clinical trials, with 89% of testers saying their skin looked more luminous after four weeks.  The Radiance night cream (£16) is a bit of a weird consistency, but does the job and the One Minute Facial £15) gets very high ratings in the trials for improving radiance (I didn’t have this to try).  The range concentrates on reviving dull and fatigued skin in particular, so if your skin falls into that category, you might like to give this a try.
