Perfume Review: Eau De Lacoste Sensuelle

lacoste

I’m sure it’s quite wrong to review perfumes by assessing the bottle but hey, our blog, our rules.

This is the latest launch from Lacoste, Eau De Lacoste Sensuelle, which is a sexy, pick-and-mix sweet, rosy fug, with a tiny hint of blackcurrent and the ubiquitous pink peppercorn to toughen it up. it reminds me very slightly of a more earthy and less sophisticated version of Jo Malone’s Velvet Rose & Oud

But what I love is the stylish midnight blue bottle, pleasantly heavy, wrapped with a pale pink satin thread and topped with a dark navy top that’s embossed like the Airtex fabric from which the Lacoste T shirt is made. A nicely grown up design that would hold its head up in any perfume wardrobe. Go easy with it, a little goes a long way. Available here from £32.
