Garden Inspiration for a sunny weekend

Remember Amanda’s post on the wonderful house and gardens at Great Dixter. If like me you still haven’t managed to make the trip there, you might enjoy this lovely film from Nowness.

The master of English horticulture, gardener Christopher Lloyd’s work at Great Dixter was featured this week on their new Great Gardens series (definitely one to look out for in the future). Captured by photographer and filmmaker Howard Sooley, who first visited Great Dixter in 1989 with his partner, co-gardener and filmmaker Derek Jarman, the film is a visual portrait of the beautiful gardens and the amazing manor house and the people who look after them.

If you are looking for new ways to display your houseplants, inspiration for table settings, or want ideas for unusual containers for indoor growing, The House Gardener has lots of  inspiration.
