It’s not too early to be making Christmas lists for ourselves, is it? Because this elegant little perfume compact from Ormonde Jayne would make a fabulous addition to anyone’s stocking. Firstly it is glamourous, with a heavy, solid feel to it as you open and close it, there should be more glamour everywhere in my opinion. Secondly it has a useful mirror inside the lid, so it’s ideal for handbags as a lipstick/hair-adjusting mirror. Thirdly you can get it in a solid version of four of Linda Pilkington’s top fragrances, Ormonde Woman, Osmanthus, Ta’if and my favourite Tolu.
Linda told me that this solid perfume formulation has a very high ratio of fragrance in it, 18%, which is much higher than other solid fragrances, so it’s long lasting and good for topping up your scent on the go. I’ve trialled the Tolu and it is very good. An ideal special present for a fragrance fan.
