Trade Routes is another lovely collection of fragrances from British brand Penhaligon’s. Launching ‘collections’ of fragrances is becoming something of a thing, offering three to ten new fragrances in one launch rather than the odd one here and there. This range is a top quality collection of differing perfumes all inspired by travel and the exoticism of the old trading routes frequented by British traders back in the day. Check out each fragrance, which cost £120 each and how they smell here.
What really inspired me to feature these is the exquisite packaging, something Penhaligon’s is starting to excel at (wait to you see the new daffodil inspired Ostara packaging, coming on the blog next week). The mother of pearl inlay affect on the box for Empressa and the wood veneer featured on the Lothair box really make these covetable boxes. Would look fabulous on any dressing table.
