Night to Daywear: Luxury PJs

Nightwear for day wear is definitely a thing and Milanese designer Francesca Ruffini has tapped in the whole maximalist/eccentric trend perfectly with her F.R.S. (For Restless Sleepers) range of  PJs made from finest Italian (Como to be precise) silk.

Featuring vintage inspired prints the first collection is perfect for lounging around at home in a luxurious Isabella Blow meets Peggy Guggenheim way, or dressing up with heels and jewels for a glamorous night out. Either way they cost a small fortune, but are the kind of thing you will keep for years and years and pass on as heirlooms.

I also love the range of  robes from Toast, again great for wafting about in at home, or paired with a cosy sweater, jeans and a clumpy brown brogue – think Iris Apfel meets Radclyffe Hall.

Jane, I don’t know if you would know but do you think you could you wear the Toast one outside as a lightweight coat ? I buy the quilted coats from East when they have them is stock but am in line for a new addition and this one looks great. Love the green option on the Toast website but there doesn’t seem to be a way of adding it to your cart and buying it !

I have a couple of these Sue and I only wear them outside as a light coat. Would try and get to a Toast shop if you can as each one has a different colour way and if you leave it to them to choose you one …. well, I can only say I chose a green one and a yellow one arrived
“well, it has got green in the pattern” was the response…

Recently I have been looking for pyjamas, either a set or individual parts but in most shops I find they are decorated in silly designs or sayings.

Love those pajamas styles, will definitely add this to my wishlist 2018. The prices are quite low swell will be a great bargain.
