Fashion and Flowers by Jil Sander

The announcement that designer Raf Simons is to leave Jil Sander, had the fashion world speculating that he may be about to become John Galliano’s successor at Christian Dior, in Milan over the weekend. At the helm of the understated brand for the last seven years, Simons has taken Jil Sander from strength to strength and his final collection was a divine combination of lady like nostalgia and modern, pared down perfection.

But it was the gorgeous tones of pastel pink combined with milky chocolate brown and the stunning floral displays encased in perspex boxes by Belgiun florist Marc Calle, that made this my number one favourite collection for Autumn Winter so far.
Raf  Simons recieved a standing ovation and cheers as he took a bow at the end of the show, which is praise indeed from the fash pack!
