Yes, we went to Fashion’s Night Out, I might blog later on my views, but to be honest, they are a bit ‘grumpy old bag’ at the moment, lots of nicely dressed young things shopping…..where’s the story in that? So I’ll leave my opinions until I’ve thought it through and I’m a little more up beat about people queuing for hours to get their nails manicured in Chanel.
One wonderful highlight was once again in Miller Harris (where we saw Jane Birkin last year). It was a small range of vintage silk scarf dresses and separates by Clements Ribeiro. I think they were made just for the perfumier’s store to celebrate FNO, I can’t find them for sale anywhere on line, but they were quite beautiful. It’s all about the silk scarf at the moment it seems……..
Beautiful dresses. I didn’t go this year, decided pilates was a better option – and yes, Jane Birkin is hard to beat!
What fabulous dresses. I love the eclectic mix of colour and print, silk scarves are so beautiful they’re perfect for making garments. GG
Those are a bit nice. I’m generally rather scared of print, but maybe it’s a fear I need to get over.
Honestly TNMA, it wasn’t a patch on last year, too many women with clipboards on doors….and without Jane, really what was the point? A
