Sometimes you’ve just got to go! (on holiday…don’t panic!)

Lucille Ball famously said “if you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more you do, the more you can do”.  Which is very very true and while I love being busy and feel down when my notebook/diary/inbox/ical isn’t bulging with work lists/appointments/meetings and social events, there is a limit and I have reached it.

So I am going on holiday to spend time with family and friends and am going to try really hard to stay away from my computer – apart from watching downloads of bad American TV programmes – obvs!

I’ll be back in two weeks, hopefully with a renewed vigour/humour and sense of what matters. See you on the other side………………………. Jx

I (Amanda) will also be on holiday, sadly not in glamourous New York but in my garden and then in Devon, where it will probably rain.

We will be back on WEDNESDAY 23rd AUGUST, which is the day after The Women’s Room will be appearing at Pure London, (see yesterday’s post) I am hosting a panel of industry experts on How To Engage With 40plus Women Online. If you are an independent store and will be at Pure London, do come and say hello and join the discussion.

Happy holidays and see you in two weeks!………….Axx

Happy holidays ladies! I had a moment of dismay and had to remind myself sternly that you too deserve a break and I would survive without my first thing in the morning reading of your posts :-)
