Bark is a British furniture company run by husband and wife team, Jonathan Walter and Lakshmi Bhaskaran, both of whom are trained bespoke cabinetmakers with a passion for modern design. Having developed their craft creating one-off pieces for individual clients, in 2010 they decided to join forces and established Bark Furniture.

Offering a fresh take on bespoke British made furniture, their mission is to create original designs using traditional, cabinet making skills, influenced by the mid-century modern era.
They recently launched the Acorn one and two-Seater chairs at Clerkenwell Design week. They also created a scaled down version of their Kustom armchair for their 8 month old daughter.
