Love, love, love these jeans. Despite the rather scruffy appearance, they fit like a dream, slightly slouchy with a bit of a boyfriend shape and they taper to quite a slender ankle. I love the the quality of the fabric, the distressing details and the patches appeal to my ‘fix it’ nature. They are by another major brand, which I’m not allowed to mention, but you’d be impressed. Even more impressive is the price, £22.
And for slouching around the house, I’m putting the jeans with these two comfy sweaters, a loose knit navy and silver starred crew neck (£24.99), worn under an over sized angora cardi (£29,99) in silvery grey, that has a very strong feel good factor knitted into every stitch.
Reading yesterday’s comments on outfit #2, it’s worth mentioning that at TK Maxx, there’s often only one -or very few- of any item, once something has gone, it’s gone. But the joy of any TK Maxx is that there are daily deliveries of new stock to pick over -the retailer doesn’t have stock rooms, all it’s stock is on the shop floor – so there’s always a new gem to find.
