Halloween food inspiration

Halloween food 2British consumers are spending more on Halloween merchandise than ever and it’s contending with Valentine’s Day to be the biggest event after Christmas and Easter.

A decade ago, consumer spending on Halloween in the UK amounted to £12m, but it is now a £300m+ industry and no longer just about dishing out a few sweets. or trawling round the streets trick or treating with small children – with everyone talking about ‘what they are doing for Halloween,’ it is now officially a ‘thing’.

For those of you (like me) who relish any house decorating opportunity and excuse to mad with a glue gun or piping bag, you will love Halloween. But if you’re not so keen, it really doesn’t have to be a big deal. If you find yourself faced with a Halloween event, there are lots of simple ideas on Pinterest and the the like to inspire costumes, decorating and food ideas.

Here are a few of my favourites from Pinterest.
