It’s definitely party week here at TWR, or party prep anyway….
A lovely and very useful website has come to our attention from TWR reader Julia (did you read the excellent feature she wrote recently on Womenomics, using, ahem, us?). Pea Green Boat is officially a purveyor of wedding party paraphernalia, but we think it’s an excellent source of beautiful decoratives with which to beautify your Significant Birthday party. Or any teens party. Or any celebration that requires decorating, full stop.
I am particularly drawn to the excellent stationery bits and bobs, including these MDF numbers, above, and the delightful crocheted leaves, which come in many different guises, such as cake banners and these placement labels. There are vintage gold number stickers, gold balloons, giant balloons, cake decorating stuff, tissue-y pompoms and marvellous bunting and garlands, it’s all there for the decoration geeks.
It’s a London based company, just launched, which aims to provide stylish alternatives to the standard wedding style. We think you can add in any party that’s thinking big, we’re certainly bookmarking it under ‘very useful’.
