We are on holiday this week, but while we are away…..Exciting news! We are proud to announce we are having our first TWR fragrance event, in conjunction with the fabulous fragrance expert Odette Toilette and the beauty brand Aesop.

A Taste for Scent is an evening event on TUESDAY JULY 22nd at Aesop’s flagship London store, which invites you to jump in and re discover your sense of smell and develop your personal taste in perfume.

Are you still wearing the same fragrance you wore when you were 23, but are a bit nervous about how to pick a new one? Do you fancy creating a perfume wardrobe now you are a proper grown up, but don’t quite know how to go about it?

In a relaxed, interactive evening session, we’ll encourage you to get tuned in to what you love and hate, and how it might be changing. You will experience new ways of thinking and talking about aroma and be better armed next time you go shopping for perfume. We will delve into your current fragrance habits (we’d like you to bring what you currently wear) and suggest new scented directions to explore.

Our event will be hosted in the events space in Aesop’s beautiful Covent Garden store, and will commence with some quickfire sniffing exercises using some of Aesop’s scented products, before moving into our perfume discovery.

Tickets cost £20, which includes refreshments, nibbles and a take away goody bag. It’s worth noting that the space is not huge, so tickets are limited, if you really like the sound of it, we suggest you don’t dither.

You will be able to arrive in store from 6.00pm for a prompt 6.30pm start and 8.00pm finish. The event will be held at  Aesop, 7 King St, Covent Garden, London WC2E 8HN

Just mentioned this on my facebook page. What a lovely idea! Alas, I feel I need to cull my ‘fragrance library’, not add to it!

Thank you DRG! Yes us perfume-nuts suffer from too much rather than too little, but I’m hoping Odette Toilette will help teach me how to make better choices about which ones to cull…Ax
