After a few books from this summer’s must-read list had turned out to be non-starters, I was delighted to tuck into Completion by Tim Walker, a feast for anyone with a taste for a character-driven book set in many authors’ favourite stomping ground – North London.
It centres around a family scattered far across the world, brought back together by the immanent sale of their once-loved home, The House on The Hill.
I’m only part way through the book, but I’m loving it and enjoying the vivid, at-once familiar descriptions of London and the wonderfully flawed people who call it home.
