Phoebe Waller-Bridge reinvents The Twelve Days Of Christmas

I have been struck down by the flu this week, and am in no state to write about anything other than what clothes to wear whilst ill, which ideally would be Winser London’s cashmere wrap and perhaps Whistles cashmere joggers but actually involved a very old winceyette nightdress and my trusty White Company dressing gown.

Anyway, amongst the discarded Lemsip packets and layers of crumpled balm-infused tissues, this sweet little video turned up (thanks Julia and Lisa!) to save the day. It features the wonderful Phoebe Waller-Bridge of Fleabag fame. I have been practically evangelical about Fleabag, a six part series I found on catch up earlier in the year and didn’t move off the sofa until I’d watched every episode. It made me laugh and cry, Waller-Bridges- who co wrote it and played the lead- is a brilliant woman. Watch it immediately if you haven’t already.

This little film has been made by advertising agency Anomaly, as a slightly feminist take on the Twelve Days of Christmas tale. Enjoy. Normal service will resume next week with last minute, panic-free suggestions for presents. Probably.
