The fabulous and much missed Bill Cunningham left us all a small, posthumous treat, a memoir, uncovered when his monk-like apartment was cleared by his family after his death in 2016. It’s now available to buy here. Anyone who knows Bill’s work on the New York Times or who watched the documentary on him or who has followed our adoring posts on him over the years might quietly rejoice at the idea of getting a closer look inside the man’s head.
I have it ready to read so can not tell you yet if it’s good or not, but Simon Doonan has written a terrific review here which will entertain you.
