Spotted in The Guardian this morning, the new John Lewis ad has already attracted 100,000 hits on YouTube, so maybe you’ve already seen this.
I once interviewed the marketing manager of John Lewis who told me that you only really ‘got’ John Lewis when you were over 40, when you realised what a really great store it was for all the important things in life. It is one of our favourite TWR stores, particularly now it’s getting its fashion act together.
The Guardian reckon this is cheesy but rather fab, MUCH to my annoyance I actually get a bit teary when I watch it ( what’s THAT all about?) but it could just be Billy Joel’s Always A Woman…. what about you?
