Something for Fathers day: Shedworking and Dear Dad

Shedworking
We have been fans of the Shedworking blog for some time and were delighted to hear that Alex Johnson has published a book inspired by the shedworkers he features on his blog.

Shedworking looks at why shedworking is eco friendly, improves work life balance and accelerates productivity. It features inspirational images of garden offices, summer houses, mobile offices, tree houses and traditional sheds, and the stories of those who inhabit them, as well as practical advice on how and where to build one.

If like middleagedad, the man (or woman) in your life, aspires to a shed (Amanda's lucky husband already has one), this could be the perfect present.

Dear dad
Or if you are feeling a little sentimental and want to let your Dad or the father of your children, know how much you appreciate him, take a look at Dear Dad. The book is part of the M.I.L.K collection, a global competition started by photographer Elliot Erwitt to find extraordinary and geographically diverse images portraying 'Moments of Intimacy, Laughter and Kinship'. Dear Dad features 150 new images of Fathers and their relationships with their children, along with quotes about fatherhood.

BTW, Fathers day is June the 19th.
