Unless you have spent the summer in outer Mongolia, I am sure you are aware that camel is 'the colour' of the Autumn/Winter season. Of course we realise to some people this will have almost no impact on their lives whatsoever, but other sad fashion sorts like us, will be rushing out to buy something camel to add to our wardrobes asap (sadly I already have!!).
Unlike other 'fashion' colours from previous seasons, camel is A. quite easy to wear and B. shouldn't date as quickly as say aubergine or lipstick pink (ridiculous names are what I do for a living – please don't mock). So if you fancy adding a little bit of Camel or brown (also a key colour) we have sourced some of our favourite new footwear in brown and camel tones.
This Autumn Winter footwear is all about the wedge and we love the Clarks desert boot wedge, as not only does it look just right, it is also very comfortable, which is very important as we get older!! They are also only £99 as opposed to the gorgeous but very expensive alternative Marc by Marc Jacobs pair for £290.
Mid height kitten heels are another 'must have' for the season – thanks goodness – and we love, again by Marc Jacobs and hideously expensive, this ultra sophisticated, Mad Men inspired, brown/olive pair.
These Jil Sander lace-less brogues are divine, as are these amazing Chloe ankle boots – don't even go there with the price, but you would wear them for ever! But my current must have/boot obsession is the Churches Chelsea boots in Sandalwood, which are not available anywhere, which of course makes me want them even more!!!
If anyone sees them for sale, please let me know. In the meantime, Clarks will just have to do.
