We love: Timney Fowler

Timney Fowler
Sue Timney and Grahame Fowler met at the RCA in 1979 and went to on to set up the successful print design company Timney-Fowler. The company's signature black and white graphic style was popular worldwide and led to collaborations with Yojhi Yamamoto, Issey Miyake, Ralph Lauren and Diane von Furstenberg. The brand also designed their own clothing range and developed global product licences. They eventually opened their own shops in Portobello Rd and the Kings Rd in London.

The Fashion and Textile Museum's current exhibition celebrates the work of Sue Timney who took sole ownership of the brand over in 2003. The retrospective of both her own career as a designer and her work with Timney Fowler, features some unique and exclusive material in an exciting, bold display developed in collaboration with Sue. The exhibition runs until April 2011.

The designer is also launching a new home-ware range for Spring Summer 2011 with House of Fraser.
We can so feel a black and white moment coming on !
