I was having a particularly stressful day last week and decided to nip into Margaret Howell for a spot of fantasy retail therapy. As I entered the neutral, pared down homage to simplicity, I felt instantly calm and my shoulders visibly dropped as I browsed the rails of beautiful clothes. Only the prices left me feeling slightly tense. If only I could afford more than a couple of pieces in the sample sale!
I am currently coveting the grey check linen dress (on the right) and the mens style lace up shoes. As I left the shop purchase free, but much calmer, I pondered on how lovely life would be if it were just like a Margaret Howell shop!
