More colour inspiration

Always on the look out for colour inspiration for the day job, I recently stumbled across the lovely Tumblr, Landscape Palettes.

The colour palettes are inspired by photographs of landscapes, submitted by anyone who has taken an nice image. You can then either create your own palette using tools supplied by the creator of the site, or have one made for you.

Also check out the rather fabulous Beyonce Palettes Tumblr, which is inspired by – yes you’ve guessed it – images of Beyonce.

And just in case Beyonce inspired colour palettes aren’t quite camp enough – how about a colour chart inspired by the Queen?

The collaboration between Pantone and Leo Burnett documents the shades the Queen has worn on 60 different occasions during her 60 year reign, including the Primrose Yellow she wore at William and Kate’s wedding, the Canal Blue outfit she wore to Royal Ascot in 2008, and the Pink Carnation colour she rocked at the Chelsea Garden Party in 1967.

Limited to just 60 copies, the palette highlights her Royal Madge’s love of pastels. We do hope she approves!
