Can you believe it’s that time of the year again? Christmas fairs are upon us, how can that be when it’s only just been summer…or whatever that wet patch was. Walking through London this week I noticed all the Christmas lights were up and there’s a tree in Covent Garden. Resistance is such an effort.
One of our favourite fairs is the Selvedge one, which always seems to kick start the count down to Christmas and is on next Saturday 10th November. It’s a lovely fair, and well worth planning a trip into London for, with many artisan craftspeople and textile sellers offering a curated collection of gift ideas. Including these endearing hares made by Jenny Barnett. So if this is your thing, put it in your diary. If you can’t go, you can follow us on Twitter and Instagram as we will be visiting.
For more information or to buy tickets (It costs £5 to enter) see the Selvedge website
