A quick mention for our friends over at the Red Cross vintage store in Victoria, who have moved around the corner from the old Ebury Street site to a magnificently sized new store on Buckingham Palace Road. You may remember we wrote about their sister store in Shrewsbury here
Although it’s only around the corner, it seems many people think it’s closed down completely and this is very far from the truth. I popped in last week and it is much nicer to shop now, being so spacious and the selection of top notch designer, high street and vintage gems and is extremely tempting. I was very taken with the bang-on-trend mono-print Hardy Amies scarf at £50….
…And the Marni sandals, which sadly weren’t my size. The Moschino skirt with floral pockets was a total steal at £20.
These Gina shoes were £200 and are in great condition. It’s easy to get to as it’s almost opposite Victoria tube station and you can drop off donations with the easy parking round the side of the store. Add it to your ‘designer vintage stores to visit ‘ list.
The new store is at 22-24 Buckingham Palace Road, London, SW1W 0QP. Race you there.
