Sheryl Sandberg joined Google when it was a start-up and went on to become COO at Facebook. Clearly a clever, ambitious, women, she also professes to be good negotiator and a strong networker. She also puts her success down to creating, recognising, and seizing opportunities – something she says women need to do more. She advises us to “Lean In” and push ourselves forward, both in life and at work.
Looking at ways to tackle the anxieties and preconceptions that stop women reaching the top, this book both annoyed and inspired me, but is definitely worth a read.
