A quick additional post today and attention +J fans! There is a small collection -called the Best Of +J -available currently at Uniqlo.
Now, no one told us this was going in store, we thought +J had finshed forever, but it appears not. It launched last week and we don’t want to panic you, but there’s only a bit left, so if you want to secure a few pieces, we suggest you act fast. We are indebted to TWR reader Ros for bringing its existence to our notice.
I have loved every piece of +J I’ve ever bought, I live in the black jacket from the first collection and my merino wool roll necks are in better condition than me. The fabrics and make on the range are just a bit better quality than normal Uniqlo – which itself is pretty darn good.
It’s available in store at Oxford Street if you are passing, and some styles are available on line. I loved the the sweet cashmere cardigans with neat patch pockets -above -which have a lovely thickish feel. The black and navy are just perfect, but i loved the camel and blue too.
I’ve snapped up one of the crisp fine cotton tuxedo long sleeve shirts -I bought white- but how nice is the navy? it’s not often you find a nice quality plain cotton shirt. Obvs there’s black too and another simple button through shirt which is also worth considering.
The down short parka might interest Uniqlo down fans…I love my lightweight down jacket which i wear under other jackets when it gets really cold.
In store there is a great neat trouser in a robust wool felt, sadly not available on line, but this cute Flippy navy skirt is, which looks a great work skirt and again, nice to see it in navy as well as classic black.
So just letting you know, perfect classic styles, nothing fancy but brilliantly wearable and lovely quality, only move quick if you’re keen as the staff in store said that there will be no more deliveries on these styles.
