I am a proud ambassador for the Swedish brand Gudrun Sjoden, mostly because I really like Gudrun herself and I am extremely impressed with what she has achieved as a grown up, creative woman who runs a very successful brand. I love her cheerful use of colour and print, her firm belief in eco-friendly fabric and manufacturing standards and her inclusive attitude towards age and size. Whenever I visit her joyfully colourful store in Covent Garden it is always full of adoring customers who treat the brand a little like an extended family.
Gudrun’s clothes are not for everyone though. I appreciate that some find them a little too bold and not everyone feels confident wearing colour. However, the new range of pyjamas, night dresses and bathrobes out for the festive season are a chance for even the most strident of black-and-navy wears to shimmy down into some creatively-clashing hues and prints. Who wants dull PJs? Not me.

I’ve a pair of the cool cotton Teresa pyjamas in the black print and they are gorgeous, the kimono-style top is both stylish and cosy and the generous bottoms have a comfy, draw-string elastic waist. They can be matched with the Tessan nightdress or camisole in white and black for a print mash-up or the whole range comes in cranberry and raspberry if you’re after more festive hues. There’s even matching socks for the full Hygge experience (are we still using that word?)
I love the soft, light, weight of the cotton, which is very forgiving of my lack of temperature-control at night. Available here.
I love these designs and colours. I know that they espouse positive environmental principles as part of their business plan but just think it’s a shame that none of their products appear to be manufactured in Sweden.
I like the fresh design ideas that you have put up out here… but how much can you do with the simple & humble shirt? I have seen some of the best dress/casual shirts I’ve seen in ObeyClothing.com. I’ll be buying all the colors when I have some extra cash.
Hello,
I’d like to order online from Switzerland but can’t get through.
Can you please help me?
Thank you for your answer
