Blimey, that Mary Portas works hard, last week she was launching Mary Portas at the House of Fraser, this week -Wednesday 15th at 6.30pm-she’s launching her shoe collection in the Clarks store in Oxford Street and would love you to pop by and chat. And for those of you out of London, Mary is touring with her Clarks shoe collaboration to Birmingham 5th October (12.30-3.00pm) and Manchester (6.00pm – 9.00pm) and she’s asked us to invite as many of you along as want to go, so if you are free, pop in and say hello (and tell her we sent you).
The shoes are hot, particularly if you like heels. There are nine styles in total and we loved them at the Mary store launch, above are the La Portas snake skin boot at £120 and the La Antoinette predator print boot at £130.

I read today that there’s a 1000-strong waiting list for the La Magdalane shoe.
Having not ventured inside a Clarks since childhood – when I would be dragged along for ugly and sensible school shoes – it may be time to reacquaint myself!
