Somehow it feels wrong to buy coffee table books for yourself, it's just a little over indulgent and flash. So when someone asks what we'd like for Christmas we usually have a list of huge OTT books we'd love to own, but can't quite bring ourselves to buy. Here are a few we have been browsing recently, which would also make great presents for style conscious friends and family.

Perfect English Cottage by Ros Byam Shaw explores the inspirational style of the English countryside and features everything from a perfect roses round the door cottage to a pared down Georgian gem. With sections on how to achieve the look, its a must have for anyone who loves eclectic interiors.
More is More by Hutton Wilkinson, looks at the over the top style of designer and artist Tony Duquette, known for his fantastic interiors and fabulous parties. The beautifully illustrated book explores Duquettes views on design and interiors, and includes the never been seen before film, Lady Queen of the Angels.
