Precious and Lucza pop up in Spitalfields

As I write this, Radio 4’s You and Yours is saying that smaller shops and independents retail figures improved slightly compared to larger stores this last quarter, it appears we are definitely buying locally from stores that really appreciate our money. Well we’ve been saying that for ages…we also all know that it’s a case of ‘uses it or lose it’ with local independent stores and we all want our local butcher/grocer/newsagent/teashop to be around forever.

So, with that in mind, one of our favourite fashion independents is Precious, in Spitalfields run by Kate Evans, who is both stylish and helpful when it comes to picking clothes that really work for you. We wrote about her wonderful evening at Denis Severs house recently. If you want honest advice on what works for you, she’s your girl.

This week, starting today, she’s teaming up with another brand we love, Lucza, (they met via our blog, we are brand/retail matchmakers!) for a Christmas pop up that will last until Friday, with a special late night on tonight, where you can chat to both Kate and Karen (Lucza’s founder) on what to wear over the party season. Lucza’s loungewear is usually only available on line and this is the first pop up Precious has done, so it’s an exciting affair for both ladies. You can also buy Angela Flanders perfumes and candles here too, so there’s lots of reasons to pop in.

The Precious Pop up is on from Wednesday 30th November to Friday 2nd December, with a late night on Wed from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. The store address is 16 Artillery Passage, Spitalfields, E1 7LJ. See you there!
