World Book Night again, we have books to give away…

It’s World Book Night on Monday 23rd April, and once again middleagedad has offered to give out books (only 25 this year rather than 50, which is something of a relief). This year he has selected the wonderful if disturbing Let The Right One In, by John Ajvide Lindqvist (review here) I have two copies to give away to anyone who leaves a comment below saying they want one.  I’ll pop them in the post on Monday and you can start reading!

  • Melissa says:

Ooh..this book is on my long list of to-reads. It’s a very different genre from the books I typically read, but I thought the film was excellent and would like to give the book a try. It’s had great reviews too.

  • justine says:

yes please! I would love to read this book.

  • Anita says:

I saw a film version of this too and would ilke to read the book – is it a truth to say that the book is always better than the film?!

  • Marv says:

‘Let The Right One In’ is brilliant. Adored the (proper) Swedish film, thought the American version was tosh but probably a tad too dark a story for Hollywood to cope with. Book even darker than the original, hurrah!

On a side note, are you getting excited about ‘The Bridge’ this weekend? Am beginning to think I might have to go and live in Sweden…

  • Katie says:

I would love a copy of this book too! On my list. Though I think I have missed out given the number of comments already…..

  • Hannah says:

Ooh yes please, it’s been on my wishlist for ages! (Though I’m not very good with scary books, they stop me from sleeping…)

  • amanda says:

Middleagedad has said we can have a few more than two since so many are interested, so if anyone else fancies a copy….keep leaving comments! A

  • Dana says:

Yes, yes, I want one, pleaseeeeeeeeeeee ………….that would be lovely !

  • Mary says:

Love the Swedish version of the film and would love the book I’m sure! Would you post to Western Australia?

  • illuminata says:

Ooo yes please! Bookless and desperate as of yesterday…

  • Molly says:

Oh yes please, can you count me in. I’m going through books at a great rate at the moment. I’ve seen the film (Swedish version) of this and would love to read the book.

  • Amanda says:

OK I put names in the hat and pulled out the following 4…….Molly, Melissa, Illuminata and Dana. Would you all please email Amanda your addresses and I’ll get them in th post tomorrow. A

  • Gregg says:

Yes, I also have a lot of books and I read books of various genres quite often. But I never liked writing. And when it came time to write a dissertation in college, I turned to specialists I heard a lot of good reviews about them, and they helped me with the work. And they did it competently and professionally.

  • Adamz Sendler says:

Sometimes it is quite difficult to determine inaccuracies on your own, so I consider the help of specialists to be appropriate.

I love to read and spend a lot of time on it, so there is a need to use my time more efficiently. For this, I often use the online help of the proven service , here you can get 24/7 online help with documents for nurses even with a 3-hour deadline.
