World Book Night again, we have books to give away…

It’s World Book Night on Monday 23rd April, and once again middleagedad has offered to give out books (only 25 this year rather than 50, which is something of a relief). This year he has selected the wonderful if disturbing Let The Right One In, by John Ajvide Lindqvist (review here) I have two copies to give away to anyone who leaves a comment below saying they want one.  I’ll pop them in the post on Monday and you can start reading!

Ooh..this book is on my long list of to-reads. It’s a very different genre from the books I typically read, but I thought the film was excellent and would like to give the book a try. It’s had great reviews too.

  • justine says:

yes please! I would love to read this book.

  • Anita says:

I saw a film version of this too and would ilke to read the book – is it a truth to say that the book is always better than the film?!

  • Marv says:

‘Let The Right One In’ is brilliant. Adored the (proper) Swedish film, thought the American version was tosh but probably a tad too dark a story for Hollywood to cope with. Book even darker than the original, hurrah!

On a side note, are you getting excited about ‘The Bridge’ this weekend? Am beginning to think I might have to go and live in Sweden…

Yes, I also have a lot of books and I read books of various genres quite often. But I never liked writing. And when it came time to write a dissertation in college, I turned to specialists https://www.essaygeeks.co.uk/dissertation/ I heard a lot of good reviews about them, and they helped me with the work. And they did it competently and professionally.
