We have been getting sneak peaks at autumn beauty and gift ranges this week, since we’re over summer in retail (see Jane’s rant) and everyone’s thinking Christmas (although to be honest, the weather HAS helped get us in the mood). One of the nicest and best priced new ranges we’ve seen is this lovely retro inspired range from print designer Lisa Stickley-Levis. Now some of you may be aware of Lisa’s work through the company she used to be involved with -called Lisa Stickley. She resigned a while ago (things didn’t work out with her backer) and started again, supported by Boots, which has helped her launch this range of skin care and accessories.
The inspiration for the little collection comes from her much loved, country living aunt and uncle, who always supported her desire to be a designer and provided the ideas for the floral and botanic recipes behind the lotions and potions. We love Lisa’s charming, retro-insprired style and know she has other exciting things in the pipe line, so keep watching.
These launch in Boots late summer, but will be lovely Christmas gift ideas, the prices are excellent for the quality, the elderflower and lemon hand cream is £6, the Splendiferously Salty Salt Scrub and Gloriously Buttery Body Butter set is £18 and the vanity case stuffed with goodies is £35.
In other collections at Boots, floral prints are everywhere and this sweet collaboration between Hello Kitty and Liberty of London will send my Japanese friends into a complete spin, as it’s a combination of their favourite brands. Lots of treaty products in super-cute prints, including this bath time toiletry bag, filled with bath essence, body scrubs and butter for £18. Tempting to buy the whole lot and head East with a pop up retail stall…..
All available from Boots from late summer
I am glad to see some of her new work, I have always like her designs very much and can’t wait to see what she does next,
