Do you remember the recent post we did on The Perfume Society? Well, the fragrant team behind that great idea, Jo Fairley and Lorna McKay, have brought out an excellent book on the whole subject of perfume, how to buy, what to buy and what it all means. Written in a chatty, friendly way and with the gravitas of decades of knowledge gleaned from the pair’s immersion in the subject, it’s a really useful reference book as well as a great read for enthusiasts.
There’s a comprehensive list of 100 perfumes to try before you die too, which I’m doing my best to work my way through….It makes a great place to start if you are a novice sniffer too.
