After New York and London Fashion Week’s interest in all thing 70s bohemia, we suggest to grab a copy of this new V&A publication. Thea Porter’s clothes are the only ones Joan Collins never throws away, apparently and Thea’s shop in Greek Street in London’s Soho was a hub of gloriously luxurious, laid-back laissez -faire chic during its 70s hey-day.
There’s also an exhibition on at the Fashion and Textile Museum of Thea’s beautiful clothes, which the book supports and we suspect has inspired many a designer, so it maybe time to dust off your chiffon printed kaftan womenfolk…..
