I can never get enough of these garden ideas books, particularly when they are full of fabulous images and easy to follow instructions. This lovely book by Louise Curley divides its decorative botanical projects by season, its winter section is full of excellent festive ideas, such as a foraged wreath and tree baubles -there’s a very cute pine cone fairy- an alternative ‘branch’ tree and tips on frosting leaves. Is it wrong to use a book before giving it as a present? Because this would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves twiddling about with decorations and plants.
