Style Icon: Celine (and not the brand)

This new video directed by Gordon Von Steiner, featuring Celine Dion wearing six styles from the most recent Fall 2017 couture shows, was commissioned by Vogue.

Maybe the new editor is already having an effect and moving away from the magazines obsession with Kate Middleton – pretty girl and all that, but style icon she’s not!

So fabulously camp and hilarious, Celine is my new favourite style icon!

Great fun! The costumes looked like she was auditioning for the next Dr. Who.

What a breath of fresh air she is in an otherwise often boring fashion world. A very classy woman.

Never a huge fan of this very Canadian icon I have to say this video might have just changed my mind. Thanks for posting❤️

    New fan here after that!

  • I love it, and I was never a big fan of Celine’s, more indifferent, but she nails it! It’s such a welcome relief to the stone face models on the runways. Nice to see someone having fun with fashion. Shout out to the editing it’s brilliant. Was it Vogue UK that commissioned it or American Vogue? It seems to me the idea was hatched in the Instagram booth at the Met Gala in May, I wrote about it here,
