Blue tit by Emily Sutton
Couldn't resist putting these charming little chaps up today, they are felt and embroidery bird sculptures by (clearly) very talented Emily Sutton. Our New York based reader Whitney told us about her. Emily is a recent (2008) graduate from Edinburgh College of Art, where she studied illustration, she was also at the Rhode Island School of Design for a semester. we think the birds are just lovely, most seem to be sold out on Emily's website, but I'm sure if you were interested in buying one you should just email. They range from £150 to £250 each.
